Bergen: cruise port guide

Norway's largest cruise port, with a daily cap of four ships and 8,000 cruise passengers.

The port

Main cruise quays include Skolten, Bontelabo, Festningskaien and Jekteviken. The port has Europe's largest shore power facility for cruise ships, and from 2026 all ships must use shore power.

What to do

According to Visit Bergen:

  • Bryggen, the old Hanseatic wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, with craft workshops in its alleys
  • A boat trip on the fjords
