Genoa: cruise port guide

A major turnaround port whose cruise terminals sit right next to the historic Porto Antico.

Getting into town

Cruise ships use the Ponte dei Mille and Ponte Andrea Doria terminals, run by Stazioni Marittime. The passenger port is about 200 m from the main railway station and 5 km from the airport.

What to do

According to Visit Genoa:

  • The Strade Nuove and the Palazzi dei Rolli, UNESCO World Heritage since 2006 (42 palaces)
  • The Strada Nuova Museums, the National Gallery of Palazzo Spinola and the Palazzo Reale Museum
