A two-pier cruise facility in Philipsburg that can take the world's largest ships.

The port

The Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facilities added a second pier in 2009. Pier 2 is 445 m long and can take two ships of more than 220,000 GT, according to Port St. Maarten.

What to do

According to St. Maarten Tourism Bureau:

  • Great Bay Beach, with jet skis
  • Guided diving at Little Bay
  • The Courthouse, Old Street and the murals
  • Guavaberry punch at the Guavaberry Emporium
